Brief

Oona was a seasonal eatery celebrating midwestern ingredients through exploratory cuisine. Restauranteur and chef Erika Yochum sought to develop a new concept for a restaurant that drew inspiration from local, seasonal ingredients. Through unorthodox client meetings and several mouthwatering meals, I helped launch the restaurant by developing its brand, website, and media content.

 


Brand Identity

Developed a brand that captured the restaurant’s whimsical and sensual approach to food while also highlighting its exceptional dining experience.

 

Media Production

Co-directed the creative direction of the brand’s media content production, focusing on a sense of playfulness and the theme of ‘food as art’.

 

Product Development

Directed the production of new farmer’s market tote bags for the restaurant from ideation, creative direction, and manufacturing.

 

Website Design

Designed the restaurant’s website with an online reservation booking system and easy-to-update digital menus.
