Brief

Vota & Co was an art-media website that looked to inspire others to pursue their creativity and contribute to their community. As a freshman in college, I became tired of superficial mainstream art and wanted to create a website that promoted artists who were using their creativity to spread meaningful messages. I developed the project through a college start-up incubator program and launched a beta version of the website that featured artist interviews, virtual gallery exhibitions, and music mixes.

 


Brand Identity

Developed a simple yet elegant visual identity system that would serve as a foundation to the colorful artwork featured on the website.

 

Marketing Strategy

Launched the beta version of the website through a social media campaign and a university student ambassador program.

  • 8,694 page beta-website views, 2,172 sessions, 31.9% RVR

  • Popular geodemographics: USA, England, Netherlands, Italy, Sweden, and Australia

  • $1,500 in online store sales (USA shipping only)

 

Art Direction

Curated a variety of visual artists and musicians for interviews, gallery exhibitions, and mixes.

 

Website Design

Designed a website focused on a content-first user experience. The website featured an e-commerce store and three content pages (Food, Music, Arts).
